We are so pleased to invite everyone to attend this annual epic day of forensic chaos and fun!
The 2023 Novice State Finals
Contestants and judges: Please be sure to return the room to its original state after each round and to not disturb teacher items or school equipment. Please do not take any food or beverages into rooms with the exception of water, which is encouraged. DO NOT enter rooms that are not in use!
Judges: Be sure to draw for speaking order, and to announce times after each performance. Put ranks/scores on the critiques and turn them in to the Tab room immediately after each round. MOST MIFA Speech Activities rules are in effect. Any unsure rule analysis/violation should be brought to the Tab Room (outside the Media Center) BEFORE the ballot is scored. The Tournament Director and MSCI President has discretion on all rules interpretations.

Schematic changes will be updated on Tabroom.com Judges AND contestants should check for changes in their section BEFORE each round!
Food: There will be breakfast and lunch foods available for purchase. .All should eat onsite as there won't be time to leave campus.

Walled Lake Western Tournament at Walled Lake High School -March 14
Captains will check their categories at 7:15 A.M. at Walled Lake Western High School (Cafeteria). Don't be late! Ms. Scurti can't register the team until she knows all contestants are present!
The invitational will be in person at Walled Lake Western High School

Impromptu quotes will originate from:
Food: There will be NO TIME to leave the building to eat. We will supply a nutritious and relatively tasty assortment of food. We will have breakfast foods before the first round, lunch during the day and goodies. All proceeds from food sales will go to WLW’s forensics team’s budget so that we can attend tournaments. So, THANKS for your support!
Parking: Parking is available in the South lot (first entrance).

Take I-96 exit 160 to North Bound Beck
The school is about 2 miles North on the East side of the road just past Pontiac Trail.
