Ninjatational -March 2
The Ninjatational is offering all (16) MIFA High School level events. We are also offering Middle Level (only) Declamation. We will be running semi-finals for any category with over 13 contestants. ALL categories will have a Final round. We hope that everyone will work together towards a positive day for all.
*Due to the expected size of this tournament and space constraints, Double-Entry is not currently being offered as an option. That may change but I don't expect it to.

Food: There will be breakfast and lunch foods available for purchase. Contestants should eat on-site as there will no time to leave campus. Food will be provided (Lounge) for participating coaches and judges.

1. All competitors are expected to attend the general meeting.
2. In case there are an issues, competitors should remain on site until results are announced.
3. The module schedule will be available in the morning. The late changes that I have been receiving have made me make continual changes and I do not want to confuse anyone with information that might change.

The 2023 Novice State Finals
Contestants and judges: Please be sure to return the room to its original state after each round and to not disturb teacher items or school equipment. Please do not take any food or beverages into rooms with the exception of water, which is encouraged. DO NOT enter rooms that are not in use!
Judges: Be sure to draw for speaking order, and to announce times after each performance. Put ranks/scores on the critiques and turn them in to the Tab room immediately after each round. MOST MIFA Speech Activities rules are in effect. Any unsure rule analysis/violation should be brought to the Tab Room (outside the Media Center) BEFORE the ballot is scored. The Tournament Director and MSCI President has discretion on all rules interpretations.

Captains will check their categories at 7:15 A.M. at Walled Lake Western High School (Cafeteria). Don't be late! Ms. Scurti can't register the team until she knows all contestants are present!
